The Freedom Camper is designed to work on virtually any platform with the right kit:
The 48"×79", 58"×79", and 58"×89" models sit on a raised platform above the wheel wells of a truck bed. This platform creates a completely flat interior floor while leaving the space beneath — the length of the bed, minus the wheel wells — as open storage. Hunters use it for decoys, gear totes, and coolers. Overlanders use it for recovery equipment and tools. Aftermarket drawer systems like Decked work perfectly as the platform base and give you even more organized storage underneath.

The Freedom Camper ships as a capable basecamp ready for your personal setup. The roof is built with two raised composite wood mounting areas — bolt on a roof rack, attach an awning, or mount a solar panel without any modification. Add accessories as you go:
If your best trips are the ones where you go further, stay longer, and wake up somewhere worth waking up — the Freedom Camper is how you get there.
Professional delivery and installation services are available for an additional fee through third-party providers. Contact us for details and scheduling.
The 48"×79" fits most midsize trucks (Tacoma, Ranger, Colorado, Canyon, Frontier, Ridgeline, Gladiator) and smaller trailers. The 58"×79" suits 6'6"–6'9" full-size truck beds without overhang. The 58"×89" is our most popular model and fits most full-size beds and 5×8 trailers. The 72"×89" is our widest model, best suited for large trailers. Contact us and we'll help you find the right fit for your specific truck or trailer.
Yes — a mounting kit is required if using the Freedom Camper in a truck bed. The Truck Mounting Kit uses heavy-duty turnbuckles for fast attachment and detachment, ideal if you plan to move the camper between vehicles or store it off-season. The Trailer Mounting Kit bolts directly to the trailer chassis and is best for permanent or semi-permanent installations. Both kits ship inside your camper when ordered together.
The 48"×79", 58"×79", and 58"×89" models require a raised platform to sit above the wheel wells in a truck bed. This creates a flat floor inside the camper and a bonus storage area underneath — what we call "the garage." Aftermarket drawer systems (like Decked) work great as a base. The 72"×89" model is designed primarily for trailers and does not require a raised platform. Call us and we'll walk you through your platform options.
Yes. The Freedom Camper features proprietary insulation rated to 20°F, making it comfortable through cold-weather hunting seasons and camping trips. For summer use, the optional 12V Camper Fan provides ventilation and air circulation. For serious heat, the 12V Air Conditioner (10,000 BTU) runs on standard off-grid power systems and is available as an add-on.
Absolutely. The Freedom Camper is designed as a minimalist basecamp ready for you to outfit however you like. The roof features two raised composite wood mounting areas specifically designed for roof racks, awnings, and solar panels.
